The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) sacked 25 staff within the first quarter of the current 2024-25 financial year amid an internal purge to weed out corruption within the agency that also saw Sh549 million illicit wealth recovered.
The summary dismissals between July and September 2024 marked a sharp rise compared to a similar period the previous year when seven KRA officials lost their jobs for involvement in graft.
