Court of Appeal clears swearing-in of ex-MPs as NLC commissioners

Former Nyeri Town MP Esther Murugi and Isiolo Women Representative Tiyah Galgalo have been sworn in as members of the National Land Commission (NLC) more than a year after President Uhuru Kenyatta appointed them.

The two took the oath of office Monday at the Supreme Court in Nairobi after the Court of Appeal overturned decision of the Labour Court to quash their appointments.
