The Kenya National Highways Authority (KenHA) has abruptly cancelled the international tender for upgrading the Pangani–Muthaiga–Kiambu–Ndumberi (B32) Road, a key transport corridor that was expected to ease traffic congestion in Nairobi’s northern suburbs and enhance connectivity with Kiambu County.
The cancellation was announced in a notice published in Tuesday’s edition of MyGov, a publication of the government’s advertising agency for public tenders and announcements. The move has thrown the future of the high-profile road project into uncertainty.
