The Kimugu Water Project, near Brooke Trading Centre, will commence following the compulsory acquisition of 10 acres of land from the Unilever Tea Company.
Kericho Governor Paul Chepkwony said in a statement that once completed, the Kericho Water and Sanitation Company (Kewasco) will double supply of water to 22 million litres daily from the 13 million litres currently.
