Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) plans to spend Sh2 billion to put up a new 78-bed burns centre and paediatric emergency unit to help improve specialised services and decongest the facility by separating children and adults.

Kenya’s largest referral hospital said that the government and a donor would fund both projects.
