A former aide to the late President Daniel arap Moi has emerged as a shareholder in a firm linked to multi-billion shilling public infrastructure projects financed through novel funding models as the Kenya Kwanza administration races to deliver flagship programmes.
Records at the Registrar of Companies show that Joshua Kulei, who rose from a prison warder to become one of Mr Moi’s closest confidants during his 24-year rule, is among the beneficial owners of Liaison Capital Limited, a subsidiary of financial giant Liaison Group.
