Wealthy counties lose in new revenue share plan

Thirty five counties, including the top 10 richest, have suffered cuts in their funding allocations from the Treasury under a new revenue share model introduced in July this year.
The new formula for sharing revenues from the Treasury to the 47 counties seeks equity in the distribution of resources to boost development in the smaller counties.
