Cocktails

Old-fashioned cocktail by Sammy Craft

Ingredients

Two drops of Angostura bitters
A cube of brown sugar
Double shot of Bombay Bramble
Ice
Lemon or orange peels

Procedure

Build the angostura bitter, brown sugar and Bombay Bramble into a glass with ice. Stir the glass and garnish it with lemon or orange peel.

Classic Margarita by Sammy Craft

Ingredients

60ml of tequila
30 ml of lemon juice
Ice cubes

Procedure

Pour the tequila and lemon juice into a shaker with ice. Shake to mix the ingredients, then strain into a margarita glass.

Tequila Sunrise by Peter Gachui

Ingredients

Lemon juice
45ml tequila.
Fresh oranges
Grenadine syrup

Procedure

Add the ingredients directly into the highball glass of ice. Begin with the lemon juice, then add the tequila. Top up with the fresh oranges, and then pour a little bit of the grenadine syrup from the top of the glass. It will slowly settle at the bottom. Stir and drink.

Negroni by Peter Gachui

Ingredients

Merle Gin
Martini Rosso or any other sweet vermouth
Campari
Fresh oranges

Procedure

Pour and stir equal parts of the ingredients into a whisky glass over a big rock of ice. Garnish with an orange and squeeze in the orange oils.

Whisky Sour by Samia Joan

Ingredients

Lemon juice
Sugar syrup
Bitters
Whisky
Egg white (optional)

Procedure

Put the lemon juice, whisky, sugar syrup and bitters in a shaker and shake. After shaking, pour them over a glass of ice. You can add egg white on top to give it more texture.

Espresso Martini by Samia Joan

Ingredients

Kahlua (Coffee Liquer)
Vodka
Sugar syrup

Procedure

Pour the three ingredients into a shaker, shake it up, and then serve in a martini glass.

Non-alcoholic drinks

Passion Virgin Mojito by Samia Joan

Ingredients

Lemons
Mint leaves
Passion fruit
Passion juice
Sugar syrup

Procedure

Take the lemons and sugar, muddle them together, add the mint leaves, and gently crush the mint leaves to extract the oils. Then add passion fruit and ice cubes, and top up with passion fruit juice.

Spring Blossom Mocktail by Samia Joan

Ingredients

Oranges
Strawberries
Cranberry Juice
Tonic Water

Procedure

Muddle the oranges and strawberries together. Add ice and cranberry juice. Then, top it up with tonic water.

PPP Sundowner

Ingredients

15ml Pomegranate Syrup
25ml Passion Cordial
30ml Super Lemon Juice
50ml Procera Blue Dot Gin
60ml Soda Water
2 Drops of Botanical Saline Solution
Garnish: Frozen Juniper Procera, Pomegranate, Passion Caviar

Method

Add all ingredients (except soda water) to a shaker. Shake well with ice and strain into a highball glass filled with a large block of ice. Top up with soda water, and garnish with frozen juniper Procera, pomegranate seeds, and passion caviar for an extra pop of colour and flavour.

Procera Hibiscus Highball

Ingredients

60ml Procera Gin
30ml Hibiscus Cordial
30ml Lime Juice
50ml Pineapple Juice
Garnish: Dried Lemon, Procera Foliage, Dried Hibiscus

Method

Pour all ingredients into a shaker and shake well. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice, and top up with tonic water. Garnish with a dried lemon slice, fresh Procera foliage, and dried hibiscus flowers for a stunning presentation.

Procera Elderflower Sparkler

Ingredients

60ml Procera Gin
30ml Lemon Juice
5ml Fresh Mint
10ml Elderflower Liqueur
22.5ml Gooseberry Syrup (Homemade)
30ml Aquafaba or Egg White
60ml Sparkling Wine
Garnish: Edible Flower

Method

Place all ingredients, except the sparkling wine, into a shaker. Shake well and strain over ice into a glass. Top with sparkling wine, and garnish with an edible flower for an extra touch of elegance.

Tropical Procera Punch

Ingredients

60ml Procera Gin
30ml Lemon Juice
30ml Pineapple Jam
15ml Cointreau
30ml Coconut Water
Grilled Pineapple
Blue Dot Botanical Salt
Dash of Ginger Beer
Garnish: Pineapple Leaves & Botanical Salt

Method

Muddle a piece of grilled pineapple and pineapple jam in a shaker. Add all other ingredients (except ginger beer) and shake well. Strain over ice in a highball glass and top with ginger beer. Garnish with pineapple leaves and a sprinkle of botanical salt for a tropical, flavorful finish.

Nimbus

Ingredients

60ml Procera Gin
30ml Lemon Juice
30ml Violet Syrup
30ml Aquafaba
Garnish: Frozen Edible Violet Flower

Method

Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Dry shake first (without ice), then add ice and shake again. Strain into a highball glass (or whiskey glass) and garnish with a frozen edible violet flower for a whimsical, floral touch.

Najivunia (Kenyan Pride)

Ingredients

50ml Procera Blue Dot Gin
20ml Lacto fermented sugarcane & black pepper syrup
15ml Lemon Juice
10ml Honey Syrup
5ml Aperol
Homemade Grapefruit Soda
Garnish: Blue, Red, and Green Grapefruit Jello Dots and Kenyan Flag Bracelet

Method

Shake all ingredients together in a shaker, and strain into a highball glass. Top with homemade grapefruit soda. Garnish with colourful grapefruit jello dots and a Kenyan flag bracelet for a vibrant and festive finish.
