Ruth Rotich, a private tutor, has been teaching Kalenjin language to young children and adults living in Nairobi for almost 20 years now. Over the years, she held holiday language classes in a venue in Nairobi, but with time she opted to be a private tutor where she does it in the comfort of your home.

“It is important to know how to communicate in your mother tongue as that’s the only way you can be identified. Mother tongue is your identity,” she said.
