Farmers have petitioned the Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya to intervene and increase the price of sugarcane.
Through their association, Kenya Sugarcane Growers Association (Kesga), the farmers said the low pricing witnessed in the industry is a deliberate move by a section of millers to rob them.
