The majority of Nyanza counties underperformed in revenue collection in the first quarter of the financial year 2020/21 compared to the same period last year.
According to the county governments budget implementation review report for the first quarter of the financial year 2020/21 — that is between July and September 2020 — Kisumu, Homa Bay, Migori and Kisii recorded a dip in revenue collection.
