Taxi-hailing firm Uber will transport persons living with disabilities in Nairobi, Mombasa and Thika to and from their respective polling stations for free in a drive meant to encourage their participation in the August 8 polls.
Uber’s partnership with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) will also see riders in the three towns get a Sh200 discount when they use Uber services to and from their polling stations after entering a promotion code.
