Internet users in Kenya should experience improved internet connectivity and speeds after Airtel Africa, through its wholesale arm Airtel Telesonic, activated the initial phase of the 2Africa submarine cable that links Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa.
2Africa is the world's largest subsea cable network, stretching over 45,000 kilometres and linking Europe with Africa and large parts of South Asia.
