Nairobi Hospital lost Sh527 million in revenue in four months over fights with insurers amid narrowed losses in the financial year ended December 2025 in the absence of one-off costs.
The fights, which saw insurers suspend medical insurance covers with the hospital over attempts to raise charges for patients, lasted between last August and November, contributing to a 9.1 percent fall in the hospital’s revenue to Sh11.78 billion from the Sh12.94 billion it had posted in 2024.
