Bomb blast survivor picks herself up with fireless cooker

The 1998 bombing of the American embassy next to Co-operative Bank House in Nairobi was a turning point for Rose Odhiambo, who at the time of the attack was five months pregnant.

Although the dreadful memory of that day still lingers in her mind, she is grateful that God spared her life and that of her children.
