Flying schools are now flocking to Kisumu due to its favourable weather and the shorter time it takes to complete training flights compared to Nairobi.
Sky One Aviation College was the first flying school - out of Nairobi and Mombasa - to set up in Kisumu and has so far trained 25 pilots in its one year of operation.
