The proportion of millennials actively using the Internet in Kenya beat that of members of the Zoomer generation (Gen Z) during the year ended June 2024, dispelling a popular notion that the latter constitute the larger market of the digital service.

In a new analytical report published by the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA), 47.1 percent of a purely millennial group was found to be using the Internet compared to 46.6 percent of a corresponding Gen Z set.
