The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has named a strong team of 11 senior managers to pursue small businesses, or ‘hustlers’, who have over the years eluded the tax dragnet in a new aggressive strategy aimed at expanding the tax base.
In top managerial changes announced Wednesday, KRA Commissioner-General Humphrey Wattanga appointed some of the most experienced taxmen to the newly created Micro and Small Taxpayers Department.
