The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has spared salaried workers from having to file annual tax returns manually following the integration of its internal systems, easing the compliance headache.
Salaried workers will now be required to key in their national identification number into the taxman’s system, which will automatically fill the annual income data required when filing for annual returns, including the gross pay and taxes.
