Former Vice-President Moody Awori will from July be offered lavish retirement benefits at taxpayers’ expense, adding to the already heavy burden of maintaining top State officers in retirement.
Mr Awori will join a small club that includes former presidents Daniel arap Moi and Mwai Kibaki who take home more than Sh1 million monthly.
