Safaricom hits Sh1.2trn in New Year share price rally

Safaricom #ticker:SCOM shares have rallied to an all-time high, nearly touching the Sh30 mark in yesterday’s trading, which values the telecommunications company at a whopping Sh1.2 trillion.

The company’s stock has risen 10 per cent in the first two weeks of the year to yesterday’s average closing price of Sh29, adding to the 40 per cent it gained in 2017.
