Nestle has installed coffee vending machines at Galitos, Chicken Inn and Pizza Inn in a bid to boost sales by targeting customers of the fast food joints.

This follows signing of a deal with franchise company Innscor Kenya that will see beverage maker install its Nestle Alegria vending machines at the outlets.

Innscor operates Bakers Inn, Pizza Inn, Galitos, Chicken Inn, Creamy Inn and Vida E Café food outlets in Kenya.

The partnership with Nestle Professional means takers of cappuccino, moccaccino, hot chocolate, cardamom tea, white coffee, black coffee, and espresso can now get their favourite hot beverages at all Innscor-owned outlets.

The machines will provide the beverages in 300ml servings.

Nestlé Professional is an arm of the business that seeks to promote uptake of the beverage by providing support in form of vending machines, ingredients and café care.

Innscor now becomes the second commercial partner after Total Kenya Ltd who have over 60 Nescafé Alegria vending machines placed in Total Bonjour and shops across the country.

“These partnerships make it convenient for our consumers to access Nestlé products, while enhancing their out-of-home experience,” said Robert Muathe, the General Operations Manager at Nestlé Professional.

The Nestle Alegria vending machines are convenient to customers as they only need to touch a button to get served. “With an average of over 80 cups per machine per day, this partnership is value-adding to all our Innscor outlets,” said Katja Berlee, Innscor Kenya managing director.
