The High Court has blocked enforcement of an 18 percent commission cap charged on drivers and vehicle owners by ride-hailing platforms, marking a win for operators who had opposed the limit.

The State restricted commission payouts on earnings per trip in 2022 as part of a strategy to protect drivers from high fees, down from previous rates that often reached 25 percent.
